Future Voice Pavilion

As part of the 2015 RAIC / AAA Festival of Architecture in Calgary, distinguished, young architectural firms across Canada were invited to participate in Future Voice : Situating Architecture, a national ideas forum that explored the future of architecture and the city. Participants were asked to explore a future condition, framed by the year 2040: how will architecture operate within the city in 25 years?

SPECTACLE's work focused on two aspects: 1) Containing the outward spatial expansion of Calgary (Border Lands) and 2) Revealing urban issues that arose from the flood of 2013 (Delugional Calgary).
